God created heaven and earth
- Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
God created man
- Genesis 2:7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Man sinned – God came
- Genesis 3:6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
- Genesis 3:8, 9 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
God loved the world
- John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God demonstrated love
- Romans 5:8 God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
The Word became flesh
- John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Our pain and transgression
- Isaiah 53:4a Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering. . .
- Isaiah 53:5 He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Confess and Believe

Justified by faith

I am crucified
- Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Walk in newness of life
- Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

The Holy Spirit

The Word of God

I am not ashamed

The walk of the believer
- Ephesians 4:30-32 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
The character of the believer
- Galatians 5:22-23 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
The stand of the believer
- Ephesians 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet fitted with the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the spirit. Pray in the Spirit.
